Smart Foodservice Warehouse Stores, formerly Cash&Carry, is a longtime client and we always love working with them. We have updated both the design and website functionality to enhance the usability of the site throughout the years.
Before responsive design was available in the web world, Smart Foodservice Warehouse Stores had two websites; one for desktop viewing and a separate mobile site to cater to their customers on-the-go. To streamline processes, our team re-designed and developed a mobile-first, responsive website that displays beautifully on all mobile devices.
The homepage got a full redesign that naturally informs visitors through interlocking tiles that include more imagery to better represent Smart Foodservice Warehouse Stores. Through time, the content and navigation had many additions which eventually grew to be a little clumsy in these on-demand days of immediate knowledge. We assessed their analytics and naming conventions to completely reorganize the taxonomy of the site to be more efficient and helpful to customers.
During the redesign process, we developed new tools and features on both the front-end and back-end of the site to promote their marketing as well as manage new services that Smart Foodservice Warehouse Stores is now offering to their customers, like their Click&Carry program. We also created a new content tool that allows the Smart Foodservice team to create custom Calls-To-Actions that display to customers on the front-end site.
Smart Foodservice Warehouse Stores continues to grow and open up new stores, we created Store Templates that the Smart Foodservice team uses to show the various stages of opening up a new store (e.g. Store Coming Soon, Store Grand Opening, and Store Open). It has been wonderful to help bring our client’s online and business operations to life. We always look forward to their next expansion!
