The U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF) mission is to increase global demand and exports in the U.S. beef, pork, and lamb industries. With a diverse membership in the meat and livestock industry, USMEF represents farm organizations, producers, processors, and traders to name a few, throughout the world carrying out market development activities in more than 80 countries.

Having already worked with USMEF on multiple accounting and administrative tools, we were excited to expand our partnership and established a group of stakeholders from their marketing and communications teams. After extensive requirements gathering workshops, we defined the goals for a new application:

• Modernize their theme and styling
• Responsive web design, including mobile and tablet layouts
• Streamline the site’s information architecture
• Connect members to specialist resources
• Integrate 3^rd party communication tools

The design and development process was highly collaborative, working together to define an image that reflected USMEF as an organization today and building the administrative tools for them to manage their content.

The final result is fresh web presence for the organization, with an intuitive interface to connect their members to the latest industry analytics and news reporting, and a design that reflects USMEF’s unique culture.
