Redesigned TEAM OREGON Website Launches
Portland, OR -- January 4, 2012 – A.VIBE Web Development announced today that it has officially launched the newly redesigned TEAM OREGON website, a resource for motorcycle riders that provides information about statewide training, education and outreach for riders of all levels of experience and riding ability.
The website, www.team-oregon.org, represents a collaboration between A.VIBE Web Development and TEAM OREGON Motorcycle Safety Program. To help Oregon riders comply with mandatory training requirements, A.VIBE and TEAM OREGON developed a Course Selection Tool on the website that helps visitors quickly find the training course specific to their needs and motorcycle skill level: Basic Rider Training;-, Intermediate Rider Training;-, Riders Skills Practice, or Advanced Rider Training. Once a visitor answers a few questions about their age, license status and experience, they are directed to a course locator on a state map where they can immediately register for the correct TEAM OREGON course.
The TEAM OREGON site features design themes and images that change with different areas of the website, all of which are managed by a custom Content Management System (CMS). The CMS allows TEAM OREGON to make update site content, images and features easily and instantly. Training for scooter riders, frequently asked questions, a newsletter sign-up, information about Oregon motorcycle laws, clubs and organizations, even how to properly lift a fallen motorcycle are all features of the new site.
“The new site and features will be a quick and easy page load, including for users of mobile devices,” said Pat Hahn, TEAM OREGON communications manager. “The information and navigation focus closely on the goal of getting riders trainer and properly licensed. The new site will also be the perfect platform to add lots of free information and resources in the future.”
